There are many Japanese paintings, including Taikan Yokoyama, who contributed to modern Japanese art with a wonderful view of the sea from the window.
We also hold regular exhibitions.
Finally, there is also a cafe, and the view from this coffee shop is also good. You can use only the cafe, and the admission fee is free at that time.
Tenshin Okakura is an artist who contributed to modern Japanese art rather than a painter and an art activist (at that time collided with Western painters such as Asai Chu), so there are not many works of his own. So, his own exhibits are about records. For that reason, it is a huge and splendid museum with a vast site, a vast landscaping that took time and effort, and a national level beyond the prefectural government. On the other hand, it is in a place where access is poor and you pass by. Since I am an architect, I was impressed that it was made well by asking a well-known architect, but I thought it would be difficult considering the initial cost and running cost of the construction. All the taxes of the citizens of the prefecture are used, and all the people who went there have good feelings, but the management and operation is probably a fire truck, a representative example of box administration that made a box but has no contents. I was worried that I couldn't maintain it.
