I have never visited Atsugi, but I imagine it is a good environment with the Tanzawa Mountains on the west side. The number of infected people in Kanagawa prefecture in the Kanto area is not comparable to that in rural areas. There may be examples of slander, slander and unreasonable discrimination against infected persons and their families. In some cases, it is clearly a violation of human rights. It goes without saying that the term “human rights violations” cannot be understood by children. From the standpoint of an infected child (friend), he talks in his heart in an easy-to-understand manner, but I think it is the true value of school human rights education. I saw that this, in turn, led to a feeling of compassion for my compatriots and a feeling of patriotism. I am convinced that this elementary school's case study will have a positive impact on social human rights education.
