Everyone should see this and/or Hiroshima to understand how horrible war is.

My mother, uncle and I visited here several years ago. They both survived the bomb by taking refuge in a cave about 1 kilometer from ground zero. The museum really helped me to better understand some of what they must have experienced.

They went up and beyond. But at some point, the museum turned into an advocate lecturing us about how the dangers of nuclear weapons. While necessary, it takes the focus away from the war and the events surrounding the bomb and how the bomb affected the future of the city

I learned a lot and I feel like this has opened my eyes. There was no judgement there and the poems written by the survivors were extremely moving. Definitely worth going to.

Honestly, my visit was totally spoiled by the HUNDREDS of students around, making the place extremely crowded. I understand it's important for students to visit this museum, but the number of groups should be regulated, it was far worst than Hiroshima.
