Shiroyama Park

It's ok for its size and reasonably near the train station. Not much there but it's ok for chilling out and reading a book.

This believe this is the best park in Oyama, and definitely the place for Cherry Blossom viewing. On a super crisp clear day you can see Mt. Fuji way off in the distance. The park is allegedly where Oyama castle was, but not much remains except for some old diagrams. Be sure to go deeper into the park and check out the old style bridge!
