Excellent soft cream! There are special events on the grounds throughout the year, which can be extraordinarily crowded. The bakery, just down the road, is pretty good.
Across the road, there are some hiking trails, nice in winter.

The jersey hat is always crowded, but you can eat the same soft serve ice cream here without lining up.
There are also playground equipment that will make children happy.
You can't see the scenery of Mt. Fuji, but you can enjoy your meal at the restaurant while gazing at the large meadows in front of you. Terrace seats look good in summer.
