It was built in 1945 as the Ota Town Hall with the donation of Mr. Fukujiro Umezu, who contributed to the development of the local area. Introducing Mr. Fukujiro Umezu, ruins and documents from the Jomon period and the Middle Ages are on display. The toilet is new and clean. Free parking across the road.

Castle town to leave the feature of the Kamakura period
The cornerstone of information transmission in prefecture north
July 15, 2019 ■ Hitachi Ota City located in the center of the prefecture north. It is a castle town of Mr. Satake, and it is a historical building of "Mukagaoka" that leaves the cityscape since the Meiji era. Uchizu Fukujiro, a volunteer who made a fortune to Hakodate in the new world, is renovating the former Ota Town Hall donated to his hometown. In the entrance hall and stairs, a rare Japanese-made marble "Campwater Stone" was placed to decorate the National Assembly Building. As there is a large free parking lot, if you have time, you can enjoy the small Edo walk that gives you the feeling of the atmosphere of Ogashikura, with the "Kumigaoka walking map". There is Chubu-Aki soba, there is sake, and there is a mackerel. For those who want to drink, the route from Choto-Ota Station is convenient to Mito Station. The sophisticated exterior of the station has an atmosphere that the girls look like. It is strange that retro-modern event trains do not run. Will JR East Mito branch office still be unable to recover from tourism? Even though the full line opening of Joban Line is near. If the number of tourists increases, you can see the storage building damaged by the Great East Japan Earthquake and the path to preservation by renovation. "Echigoya, the Lord will come." The old lady of Aoyama Zhuang comes out in a dream and comes to me.
When there is no event, there are few exhibitions, but local history exhibits and explanations are perfect for those interested.
Admission is free, and if you go from time to time, you can enjoy the change.
However, there are really only local items
It is small on one floor… The building is excellent and it is a cultural asset itself
If you think you're more enthusiastic about Satake's history, that's not true
