Kayashima Station

京阪本線の開通と同時に開業。京阪では最古参の駅の一つ。駅には御神木のくすの木があることで有名。昭和55年(1980年)に完成した複々線化工事では、当時の運輸省の認可を受け高架工事の設計変更まで行い、くすの木を保存した。現在の京阪百貨店守口店が建つ場所にあった京阪電鉄守口車庫が寝屋川車庫に移転したため、大阪方面への折り返し電車が始発として多数設定され便利な駅となっている。
