Iwamurakazuoehonnooka Museum

Overpriced. If you are not a huge fan of Iwamura, don’t waist your money. The garden and the land around is quite a nice place for a picnic though...

The original drawings by Kazuo Iwamura, the author of the popular picture book "14 Forest Mice", are on display. You can enjoy the pictures of cute mice. The children also have pictures from their favorite picture books, so I was happy to see them compared to the books on display. You can buy picture books (some of which are autographed) at the shop.

いやー山の中だ。道は狭いし本当に行けるのか心配だったよ。規模は小さいけど心地よい空間だった。14ひきシリーズやたくさんの作品が出迎えてくれました。駐車場は少し離れた所にあります。

I saw it at the beginning of the opening time. It was the art history of a teacher famous for the 14-animal series of picture books. Also, I would like to go if I have the opportunity. It was a tasteful place in the mountains.

自然に溶け込むように美術館がありました。とても居心地の良いところでした!
