Light cars are probably the cheapest on Hachijojima. If you are on Hachijojima, which has many narrow roads, I think a light car is a good choice. It has a navigation system, but it doesn't work. I used it only to know my current location. It will tell you tourist information and precautions for driving. It's kind.

The owner, who started renting a car because he loves cars, is very friendly and talks about various things. Customers' smiles rather than profits! It's a nice shop. The tourist season is all year round, but it is recommended to book early as the stock runs out early during the Golden Week holidays. There are also one-box cars for groups, but the number is small, so first come, first served.
