There is a stone wall in the park, but is it related to Yamashiro? There is an explanation sign of Sotokama Castle Ruins. Since the picture is not displayed, it is an explanation signboard content. The Sotokama castle ruins can be seen over the Hatsaseya and Shinobazukaya valleys and overlook the southeastern part of the Yamato Plain. It is the most spectacular mountain castle in this area, but its size is small. According to tradition, it is one of the six castles built by Nishia (also called Tamaisaia), and was the last to settle in the battle with the Northern Dynasty in 1341. It conveys the castle from the Northern and Southern Dynasties as it is. Sotokamayama is also known as "Yamato Fuji" or "Asakura Fuji" and is called Shinosakayama in Manyoshu.
