I was torn between whether to give this a three or four star rating. We are spoiled for choice of natural attractions in Saitama and on the greater scale of things, this spot wouldn't even make it into to the top 100. BUT it does have a lovely walk around the lake and there is a jogging course with steep inclines and steps making it a good place for a short but challenging run. The walking and jogging course around the lake are well marked so you can easily see how much distance you've covered. And inevitably I opted for four stars as currently the leaves are starting to change color and there are some really beautiful maple trees along the walking course around the circumference of the lake.
