A beautiful and very peaceful grave to visit and explore.
Must see
Shunki Hino was a late family in the late Kamakura period. He served as Emperor Daidaigo in thirteenth year (2nd year in Bunpo) and participated in a conspiracy to defeat the Kamakura Shogunate. He was executed in Kuzuharaoka.
After that, the place where the grave was located was recognized as a merit of the defeat, and Kuzuharaoka Shrine was founded in 1887 (Meiji 20).
The grave is a nationally designated historic site in 1927.

Origin
-In 1324 (Middle Year 1), Shunki Hino was captured for the crime of participating in the defeat plan of Emperor Gojo, and was escorted to Kamakura with Hino Shizuka. At this time, Shunki was allowed, but Shimon was swept to Sado the following year.
・ Emperor Gojo was not charged with guilt for dispatching Nori Kosoji to Kamakura and making a defense with a “declaration”.
”The“ declaration ”is a statement made by the emperor, and it was unheard of to send it to the samurai.
・ In 1331, the Emperor Gojo re-planned the final curtain, but this was revealed and Shunki Hino was captured again, and he was executed in Kuzuharagaoka, Kakehara, on 3 June the following year without entering Kamakura. Was done (change of Motohiro).
At the same time, Shigeno Hino, who had been swept by Sado, was executed, and Emperor Gojo was swept away by Oki. *
-About one year later, the Kamakura Shogunate was destroyed by the success of Masanori Kashiwagi, Osamu Otomiya (child of Emperor Gojo), Yoshinari Nitta and others.
☆ Emperor Meiji was recognized as a pioneer of the Meiji Restoration for the success of Shunki Hino, and was awarded the third place to create a shrine in Kuzuharaoka.
Kuzuharaoka Shrine gathers faith as the total guardian of Yuigahama, the god of good luck, and the god of learning. There are also knot stones that enshrine Daikoku in the precincts and are popular with couples.
It is the tomb of Ason at the end of the Kamakura period. The official rank is junior fourth rank.
After deciding to defeat him, he was ordered by Emperor Go-Daigo and traveled to various countries to expand the power of the anti-shogunate. The activity became known to the Shogunate and was captured after the Genko War and executed here. It was June 1332.
The Kamakura Shogunate was destroyed in 1333, the year after the execution of Hino Toshimoto.
After the fall of the Shogunate, the achievements of Toshimoto Hino were forgotten during the Kenmu Restoration and the civil war in the Northern and Southern Dynasties, but after the Meiji Restoration, they were re-evaluated and the third rank was given.
The song of Hino Toshimoto's death poem
"Waiting for autumn, the dew's envy that disappears in Kuzuharaoka and the rest of the world"
is.
Yoshida Shoin's death poem
"Hatatohi, in the Nobe of Musashi, even if it doesn't decay, Yamato-damashii"
I think there is a place that leads to.
You can meet the graveyard as if you were going around from the aisle. It looks like you would overlook it if you weren't aware of it.
