Designed by kengo Kuma and one of the best of his work. This museum is highly recommended.

広重の肉筆画が見る事ができると、ワクワクしながら行きました。洒落た外観で自然にとけ込んだ建物です。どうやら隈研吾氏のデザインらしい。絵を守るため照明が暗く、老眼には少々厳しかった。

It takes about one and a half hours by car from home to go once or twice a year. It's a really small museum, but the scenery of each season is also a pleasure. The exhibited works are not limited to famous ones like large museums, but on the contrary, you can enjoy them according to occasional themes. Ukiyo-e has a variety of ages and genres, so I am studying slowly. Enjoying lunch at the on-site cafe is also a pleasure (not open in winter). It is a pity that food and drinks are currently stopped to prevent corona infection.

An encounter at a place like ⁉️. A lush and quiet environment for viewing Hiroshige's work and a building that suits it (a tree was used abundantly, designed by Kengo Anokuma‼️). You can also drink "Shogun Coffee" at the cafe inside the building 🎵
