I've never been to European bakeries, but I've been to many North American ones, and this one would give them a run for their money! For half the money. Only tried 4 items here, but each was delicious! 4 types of bread used. One was a Japanese donut - bean paste inside. A hint too much sugar, but otherwise great. Perfect texture. Next was a sausage bun. A whole sausage on top. Dang, so good. Anyhow, I tried more and it was all the kind of stuff that would destroy my health if I lived or work near it. So good that I would become a glutton. OK, they do use a bit much plastic, and could probably stand a visit from a parchment pouch vendor, but I don't hold it against them.

Quality is good but why do you use so much PLASTIC? It's not eco-friendly! Why do you give extra plastic bag when we buy a French baguette??You would never see that in France!! Bread will turn bad inside. Paper wrapping is enough. Bread needs to breath!

Before I left Japan, I decided to grab a quick morning snack and this place did not disappoint. They had some seriously amazing pastries especially this cheesy crunchy bread I tried. They don't really have much English "menu" there but I'm sure they're all delicious. And if you're not into pastries they have some sandwiches too.

Whilst travelling to Nagano, Nagasaki, Hiroshima, Osaka and Tokyo, its supermarkets and patisserie  have the more  beautiful cakes, I have , ever, seen. The Japanese bakers, paaitssers  and patisseries are, now, making much more beautiful cakes and pastries. They are putting European bakers to shame. Even, the acclaimed St Honore, Paris patisserie cannot compete against them. Japanese bakers and its patisserie are so creative and daring to innovate that their new creations are attracting more Japanese housewives as their customers. Western cakes are still stuck in its the boring style. Andersen was my favourite patisserie.
