Dr. Kwangsoon Lee is one of the most patient, meticulous, and skillful dentists I’ve met. As Dr. Lee is highly trained in the endodontics specialty, I saw Dr. Lee twice (once in 2017 and once in 2020) to confirm Cracked Tooth Syndrome diagnoses made by other general dentists, who suggested invasive procedures to repair the “cracks” such as filling restorations and even crowns. At the time, the teeth in question also seemed to be somewhat more temperature sensitive than other teeth. Wanting to seek a second specialist opinion before proceeding with irreversible dental work, I pinpointed to Dr. Lee the specific teeth/surfaces where the “cracks” were supposed to be along with relevant intraoral images, she performed comprehensive and detailed examinations using a complete set of diagnostic tools designed specifically for cracked tooth diagnosis, and confirmed that there were in fact NO CRACKS. Dr. Lee’s superb diagnostic skills saved my teeth from unnecessary invasive and irreversible procedures. With time, the previously felt temperature-sensitive symptoms faded away, the teeth in question tested normal with pulp tests (to make sure the pulps didn’t just go necrotic), and everything returned to normal without any dental work as suggested by the other general dentists, proving that Dr. Lee's clinical diagnoses were indeed correct. Had Dr. Lee not assuaged my concerns, I may have otherwise proceeded with the procedures and ended up with unnecessarily damaged teeth. Dr. Lee has excellent chairside manner. I am somewhat better informed than the average dental patient so I tend to ask more questions in greater detail. Dr. Lee patiently replied to all my questions and provided detailed followup explanations. I appreciate Dr. Lee taking intraloral images and showing them on a large HD screen so we can both clearly visualize the teeth's condition during her explanations. Furthermore, Dr. Lee is highly proficient in English, so written email and oral communication in English is smooth and not an issue.

Lee’s Dental Clinic is amazing. Hands down One of the best experiences I’ve ever had with dentists in Japan, and way better than any experience I ever had in the United States. The doctor is extremely kind and her staff are extremely accommodating. They are bilingual and friendly and really put you at ease. The clinic itself is bright and clean and relaxing. They have aromatherapy, offer music/headphones for the skittish, and the whole vibe is great. Gigantic thumbs up!

As a result of searching for a root canal treatment specialist on HP for several weeks, I hoped that I could avoid tooth extraction because the roots of my molars that had undergone root canal treatment twice at another hospital became tense and caused considerable pain. , I hit the blog of Mr. Lee. It was easy to understand how to treat, and I was able to study through videos and images, so I decided to ask this teacher for the third root canal treatment. I performed 90 minutes of treatment three times, and each time I had to scrutinize for cracks, and finally I found that there was no crack, so I didn't have to extract my teeth. The bone around the root had melted and became a black shade, but after 6 months of follow-up, it was found that the bone had formed, and after 2 years of treatment, the black shade around the root disappeared completely and it was completely marbling. It was in a state. It made me very happy to hear that the treatment was completed. I am very grateful to be able to leave my teeth.

A little while ago, I had a root canal treatment for deep-rooted teeth and a simple dental caries treatment. I'm surprised at all the good reviews, but the treatment system here didn't suit me. Originally, my teeth were quite painful, but I was very anxious and painful to overcome them with painkillers until about a month after I could make an appointment for treatment. He gave me a quick medical examination, but he didn't give me first aid treatment. I also got the impression that the emphasis was on finishing the treatment within the reserved time. When I was treating a tooth that had deep roots and terrible cavities, I was told that I was treating it very quickly, and after the treatment, the teacher said, "I took only the cavities in time." I was cavities. After all, the tooth decay was not completely removed, and the pain recurred and I had to re-treat at another hospital. When I tried again, I was shown a picture of the affected area under treatment, but it was true that black cavities remained and there was drainage. After redoing, I was calm without any pain, but I wanted to cure it with one root canal treatment if possible. When the pain recurred, I was told to have a root canal resection and if it didn't improve, I would have to extract the tooth and implant it, or refer to a hospital for pain treatment at my own expense. As a result, all the options caused great damage to my teeth, and I couldn't find any meaning to treat the pain at my own expense, so I thought I shouldn't have to treat it as it is. The good thing is that the clinic is clean and has a delicate care such as putting a towel on the face. The injection of anesthesia was less painful and effective. If it was a simple tooth decay, it would be less burdensome because it would be completed with one treatment.
