Free parking at the top of the short road so you can look into the crater. The toll road is 800 yen for cars. Nice walking loop around with so many photos spots! Amazing to see one of the worlds most active volcanoes

the driving journey to mt.aso is fantastic, is amazing to see the live volcano with smoke gushing out at near distance..... you will also find that black ash flying every where.

Road to the crater, motorcycle 200 yen Conscientious. There are gas regulations, so I think you should check in advance on the website. The ropeway is extremely disappointing, but it has been removed. There is no ropeway platform crater stand for each building. I'm sure it will be maintained neatly.

登って来た高さと同じくらいの深さのある火口を見ることが出来ました 火口以外にも散策出来る所があるので時間を十分に取ると良いと思います トイレは簡易なものしかないので下で済ませる事をお薦めします 所々に噴石よけのシェルターがあります ガスの状態で山頂へ行けます
