Ogameyama Forest Park

Great place for nature lovers. Highly recommended for kids and families. There are two athletic courses, very fun sliding area, bbq area, tracking trail and rest areas. There are two parking areas. Park 1 is the one close to bbq area but closes at 17:00. The toilets are also locked at 5 pm. However you can enjoy the tracking courses. Would definitely like to come here again.

There is a sled sliding course near the entrance, and wax is applied to the bottom of the sled to slide. It is also slippery because it also wraps water on a regular basis. There is also a rental sled for ¥ 500, or you can do it yourself. Athletic is a little high level, but I haven't seen it so much and it's rare. It is also good to set up a tent in the field or play light sports.

The view from the observatory is wonderful and you can enjoy a large 360° panorama. Mt. Ogame, where the observatory is located, is surrounded by mountains, but it looks rather like a hilly area, so you can see a great distance. There are various facilities such as athletics and barbecue, but access from the parking lot is not so good because it is on the other side of the road or you need to walk a few hundred meters along the prefectural road. Large vehicles often pass during the day, so be careful when crossing.
