Interesting setting, themes and drinks, but the menu and service left a lot to be desired.

Really fun experience, everything is horror themed. A few of the drinks we got didn't seem to be alcoholic and lacked flavor, but fun to drink them. The food was pretty good, but the prices were a bit high. Staff was friendly and quick. Fun place to go if you are looking for a strange cafe experience.

I had a really cool experience at The Lock Up, I definitely enjoyed it and felt entertained. It was crazy cool!!! I went for the All you can drink package for ¥2970 (£20.34). That's including the ¥500 for the table, plus taxes. The cocktails were fun and creatively designed, my favourites being the Capturing Ghost Kit and the Jekyll + Hyde. The staff were great, even though I cannot speak Japanese. The menu on the tablet really helps, but before I worked it out it was a little difficult. However I am a British person visiting Japan so this is purely down to me and my lack of knowledge/ ability. They were great though and patient, even while we use Google translate. The action was cool, and if I'm honest it was totally wackier not understanding what anyone was saying, it was brilliant. It was also great that most people there were also Japanese speakers, instead of it being for tourism. I suppose the website booking reservation system doesn't make it so easy, but if you have a Japanese friend to help you out or maybe your hostel, then you should get by OK. All in all, a fantastic experience and well worth the money spent. Be open minded and willing to throw yourself in, and you will have a fantastic time! :)

Totally bizarre but good fun. Food was decent and the drinks were nice. A unique experience in Tokyo. The blackout was something else.

Not what it used to be. The blackout used to be pretty scary, like I was scared to go to the toilet. Now, you only have few dudes dressed up as devils, walking up and down to dance music. Such a shame!
