If I could give a negative rating, I would. I wanted to consult an English speaking Gynaecologist near me which is why I chose this clinic. The lady doctor can speak english but she did not give any explanation to whatever she was prescribing. Moreover, she was not sure if I have PCOS or not and yet asked me to get a hormone injection and be on contraceptive pills to regulate my period. It was almost as if she just wanted to mint money. The area she took my ultrasound was open, no privacy at all. The reception was just linked to the area where i was lying. Moreover, she did not even sanitise the equipment before starting the examination. She gave no explanation, nothing. Just kept on telling me to get things without being sure if I have the condition. To state her exact words: “I’m not sure if you have it, I can not confirm but maybe it is good for you to take the hormone injection”. When I cancelled the injection, she got angry and spoke to me rudely. Would not recommend it to anyone.

I started to go regularly at the beginning of 2020 because I was having trouble trying to conceive. Now, I am in my second month, and Matsumine Sensei has been very good and supportive. No complains from my side.

The doctors and staff were incredibly patient and helpful, as my Japanese is extremely limited. I was given information that had been translated into English, they even went through the trouble of translating the birth certificate into English. I greatly appreciated their efforts! I had a successful birth, and the stay at the hospital postpartum was great. The food served was delicious and nutritious. I wish I had asked for recipes! The room was also very good, I was even given a water jug and bottles in order to practice making formula by myself! Midwives would offer guidance whenever I asked, rather than forcing information onto me. I was shown how to breastfeed, how to make formula bottles, how to clean bottles effectively, how to bathe the baby and how to change diapers! And if I needed rest bite for an hour or two whilst I took a shower or ate in the restaurant, I was able to take my baby to the nurses room. Even overnight! I was so sad to leave after my 4 day stay. I wish I could go back and do it all over again and ask more questions.

Postpartum care/short stay review only*** I highly recommend their short-stay service aka postpartum care, especially for first time moms! The food was nutritious and very delicious! All the staff were helpful to give you information about breastfeeding, baby care, breast care massage, and they even have aromatherapy massage as part of the package! They'll help you take care of your baby so you can also get that well-deserved rest! It's also a great way to meet other mommies who just gave birth! They have a lot of English-speaking staff so no problem with communication. And even if some of the staff can't speak English, they try their best to communicate. You can just easily use Google translate so no problem there! You can avail a huge discount if you are a Koto resident. You just need to register at the ward.

I went here to get birth control. The doctor was very kind and did their best to find the birthcontrol I use. Unfortunately my birthcontrol is not available in Japan, but the experience here was nice. You can book online, and the paperwork is in English. The rceptionists don't speak English, but the female doctor does! I gave 4 stars and not 5 because the building is old, and I couldn't imagine having a baby there.
