Shinagawa Ward Residents' Park

Aquarium is small but cute. Ticket booths are self-service. Great place for kids but wouldn't recommend for adults. A lot of school picnics happen during the weekdays. The aquarium is well maintained and when I went there they were also renovating so am guessing they are expanding. Saw tons of sea creatures -turtles, dolphins, exotic fishes, octopuses, penguins, sharks, etc. One very cool thing is that you can pearl hunt here. They have a booth where you select your shellfish and then get your own pearl. You can make that into a jewellery or just keep the pearl. But it's a fun procedure..something to keep as a rememberance.

Total space is relatively small but still they have good numbers of see animals, including two adult size Shark.

I already saw more than this.. Very small with limited space.. Got sea lions n dolphin show too.. A quick gateway from haneda airport by taking local train..

The park around the aquarium is now (late 2019) totally under construction, making it a fairly unremarkable place to visit, filled with construction equipment. It’s due to reopen properly in 2020, though, and should be a really nice place to walk around when visiting the Shinagawa Aquarium.

The water tunnel is longer than nojima aquarium. Now, Aquarium is repaired. I hope that when i will visit it will bigger than before.
