Beautiful park with a hiking trail nearby. The view from the slide is amazing. You do have to pay every time you ride down the slide.

Longest rollers slide I’ve seen so far in Japan, perfect stopover if you’re in the area with active kids

Great park! Caught the bus (5mins) from Ogawamachi station. Hiked up (30mins), played at park (2hrs), hiked back down and caught the bus back to station. We started hiking about 11am and left the park to hike back down about 2pm. A good full day of family fun! Btw, my daughter just turned 4 and walked the whole way up and down, so I'd consider the "hike" portion relatively easy, even though the slope of the trail is quite angled. The roller slide is crazy. I wish I'd brought cotton work gloves to slow myself down on the roller slide. Other than that, you can buy the cardboard box (100yen) to sit on, or bring your own. Kids under elementary are free, but must ride with an adult (200yen). 1000 yen for bundle of 12 tickets. No food is sold at park, so bring your own! There is a vending machine and ice cream sold on weekends. Lots of benches (play areas and in lookout tower) and some tables (where they sell the ice cream), and tons of grassy areas to lay out a picnic. If coming via Tobu Tojo Line, there is a Lawson's combini just outside the station gates if you want to pickup a few lunch/snack items before heading to the park.

Home of Saitama's longest roller slide. Great views. Free parking.
