Their drip was more on the acidic side but they had really fast wifi. Not a bad stop if you're on your way to the shrine!
Update: As of 4/21, Foret is offering takeout only with outdoor seating available. However, as a bonus, if you buy a bag of beans, you will get a cup of coffee free!
This is currently my favorite coffee shop in Nagano city.

This is a great local coffee shop and a perfect stop if you are sightseeing around the city. They have plenty of hot options for winter and cold options for summer, including innovative drinks like a coffee soda. A nearby restaurant, Hakko, also offers their coffee. The cafe is quiet in the late afternoon until closing, so good for work.
Super tasty cappuccino! I recommend getting an extra shot. Staff is very friendly as well.
Awesome house blend beans. There’s also a variety of single origin beans for to choose from! Definitely recommended place for specialty coffee lovers!
If you miss a good espresso based coffee (especially us Aussies), this place will make you feel like you're at home.
