Father and Son Fudo Waterfall, Oi Town, Oi District, Fukui Prefecture.
Head 10m. A mysterious red rock waterfall that hangs quietly in the valley of Iwama, a waterfall with an atmosphere.
What is the name of the "Furusato Koen" tourist information center around the waterfall? Different things are maintained, and there are rest areas and toilets such as QBB stands.
To reach the waterfall, proceed from National Route 27 Hongo to Prefectural Road 1 and head south along the Saburi River.
Soon there will be a sign for "Fudo Waterfall Park" on the side of the prefectural road, so turn left. "Furusato Koen" (the park name is different for some reason) in the father and son village
Follow the signs and you will soon reach the park parking lot under the freeway.
It is about 80m on foot from the parking lot to the waterfall. The road is good in the park
It is well maintained, so even families can easily drop in. The river is murmuring, the water is clean, and it is good for children to play in the water.
It is cool even in summer.
