Great place to buy Kyoto souvenirs - small snacks. They also offer free coffee and tea. 5 mins walk from Kyoto Brewery.

I came with my school to Japan from the United States. We are all in year two of Japanese or above, myself being one of the yoingest. As such, we speak a fair amount of Japanese. Even so, we found it difficult to understand the lady leading the class. Thankfully, my teacher was able to translate the lady's words as we went, so we could follow her instructions during the class. There was also a set on instructions printed in English on our tables, which were very helpful. All in all, it was a great experience that my teacher is like to take part in with the next school trip to Japan. I enjoyed it, as well, and I will gladly say that the creations of this establishment are absolutely delicious.

Fun workshop for only 600 yen! You are taken on a brief tour of the factory (Japanese only) and then into a workshop room where you are given the opportunity to make 3 yatsuhashi (cinnamon, matcha, and purple yam) on your own! There are pictures and it is easy enough to follow along if you don't understand Japanese. Tip- book online ahead of time to reserve a spot

It ’s a classic souvenir from Kyoto, This time I went to buy Kyoto limited Black Thunder Matcha flavor. This item can only be bought at Kyoto Station and souvenir shops in tourist areas. Black Thunder Matcha flavor is sponsored by Otabe, so you can buy it here! There is a parking lot here Recommended for those who want to buy on a drive trip! By the way, there are some food products that can only be bought here (^ _ ^) v

I visited by tour bus. There is a body temperature measurement camera, etc., and there is a line to enter, but the corona sickness was a good countermeasure. I felt that I was enthusiastically developing new products, including the rich matcha raw Yatsuhashi limited to this store. My favorite Tsujiri rusks and chocolates were also on sale.
