This is a great cafe tucked away on a reconstructed side street next to the Daimon Patio complex. The cafe interior itself is large, roomy, and versatile in atmosphere; it is great for lunch, dinner, mid-morning coffee, mid-afternoon tea time, catch-up chats, meetings, or private events. The food is excellent. As of 4/21, the eat-in area is closed. The cafe is offering takeout only for an extremely reasonable ¥650, especially considering the high quality, thoughtful presentation, and local ingredients. You can choose meat, fish or mixed. You can phone ahead or order in-store.

Nice coffee spot near Zenkō-ji, the coffee was good enough, not great but not bad. The breakfast options were yummy.

This is one of our favorite cafes near the Zenkoji temple.Nice renovated cafe where you can eat nice and healthy lunch with reasonable price. The chefs are local mothers so you can taste japanese homey meals. Just drinking coffee is ok too.
