Tokyo National Museum Hyokeikan

Fantastic museum. One of the only places in Japanese tourist areas where you will actually learn something about what you are looking at and about Japanese history and culture. Wheelchair access is quite good except for the VERY steep ramp at entrance.

Pretty much a must do if you have any interest in history or art. Good collection and easy to navigate. Could do with some more descriptions and background to exhibits also seems like a lot of the headline objects aren't always on display.

A very well-maintained place. Japan has shown their great investment in education, history and culture.

This is for anyone with an interest in Asian history and art. There's fantastic exhibits on Buddhist art, and seasonal art exhibitions from other parts of Asia (e.g. Jain scriptures from India).

Take a look if you interested in Japan history and the park aside is joyful to walk by too.
