Amazing design and lovely staff! Came here for coffee and cake, and I must say the service was above and beyond the two staff we spoke with were so friendly and kind. We enjoyed our snack in the beautiful Starbucks and chilled here for about an hour. Really nice quirky space and atmosphere well done Starbucks!

Such an awesome Starbucks! The design on the inside and outside, transform this coffee shop to an architectural wonderland. The shop is also located on a busy local and tourist street and it is a great place to sit outside and enjoy your drink.

This Starbucks has a very intricate wood design that you can see from the outside. The design continues into the cafe itself. The menu is what you would expect from a Starbucks in Japan. There is ample space to sit inside. I went during a Saturday in the middle of the day and there were quite a lot of seats.

Squeezed into what is now the overrun tourist attraction of Dazaifu, this Starbucks was pretty nice. Service was good and quick on the weekday we went (2012) but I've got to imagine it's still a total isht show on the weekend and probably even the weekdays now. They probably don't have ice cream...
