Starbucks at Akita station. Nice branch with very happy and friendly staff. On a Saturday morning, was a good place to relax before a Shinkansen trip. Wasn't very busy at this time either. Coffee was as usual, good. The ham and cheese baguette was super tasty and made for a filling breakfast.

Clean well appointed establishment with a great window looking out on the Square in front of Akita station. Great for people watching.
Loves the coffee
There are two cashier counters, two clerk, and one of the counters ordered first, but the other clerk seemed to notice this, so I was waiting for a clerk to come at the other counter. In the meantime, two customers came later and lined up behind me, but at that time I was suddenly told, "The line is over there, so please go over there." After all, I was told to line up behind the two who came later, and I felt sick, so I went out without buying anymore. Since I was waiting at another window from the beginning, I wish I could have told you that I can't use this cash register right now before the next two customers come, so please wait in line there. If you are using only one window, you will usually line up at an empty window if you don't let me know. After waiting for a while, I was angry when I was told to line up behind the customers who came later with an unfriendly attitude. I will never use it again.
