太田和宏 (05/18/2018)
This park is located on the site of the residence of the Watanabe family. The houses lined up around the park were once inside the residence of the Watanabe family. This is the place where Emperor Meiji was taken a short break on September 16th, 1890, when he visited the Hokuriku Tokai area. On the day, there was a pine tree with a good branch on the entrance of the mansion, and when the official who came to the preliminary inspection measured the height from the ground, it was found that the last minute horse carriage could dive, and the owner, Watanabe, cut the road. I went through a carriage. Inside the mansion, a scene like a moor with a 9 cm stretch of hire spread out, and the Emperor Meiji was dying to sit on it. To protect the Aizu domain during the Boshin War, Watanabe Kanebe recruited peasant volunteers and fought to Yoita, Teradomari and Fukushima. Three people were killed in the battle with the government troops at Teradomari, and a memorial monument was erected to mourn it (in the Seitoji precincts). The Aizu clan named it "Seigidan". After the war, I entered a prison, but was forgiven and welcomed Emperor Meiji to the mansion.
