Hands down the best bottle shop in Tokyo in regards to selection but does come with downsides. Conveniently near Kita-Senju station down a bustling and vibrant street. BUT if you're not in the Ueno area or staying in a hotel nearby, it's may be a pain to get to. The biggest drawback most will have is the glass charge for drinking inside. Pay a 200 yen glass charge EVERY time you order. You get no money back when you return it and you cannot reuse a glass. If you take a bottle to go though, you can escape the charge. My go to plan is to hit it up in the evening, stock up on a few bottles and wander around Kita-Senju. It is a cool area with loads of charm and some sleaze here and there

This is one of the, if not the BEST bottle/can beer shop for craft beers in Tokyo. The rotating selection is hard to beat.

This is a GREAT place to buy beer...and take home. I found beer from my local craft brewery in CA (Mad River Brewery) that is such a small operation that I never thought for a second that they exported to Japan! Thank you!! It's not so great a place to stick around and drink it. Seating is sparse and the uncorking charge is fairly steep. For example, a 550 yen beer became almost 900 yen after the charge. Perhaps this is okay for one beer, but I find it too steep to have a second.

This place is a slice of home for me. Here and the Kanda location. As a San Diego transplant in Tokyo this is without question the best place to find beers I sorely miss. Yes it is more expensive than buying locally but I understand there are import fees and I have NEVER felt too overcharged based on my experience living in Japan. This place is a gem that quenches my thirst for real craft beer and I am grateful this place even exists. Thank you for bringing the craft beer culture to Tokyo and making this San Diegan feel at home...

Many options of international craft beer. Better to take out and not drinking there.
