The site of the Takebe residence of the Hayashida Domain (currently part of Himeji City) in Harima Province was named Somei Cemetery under the control of Tokyo Prefecture and opened as a public cemetery. The name was changed to Somei Cemetery in May 1935. In the season of 🌸, Yoshino cherry blossoms are in full bloom and beautiful. Originally, this neighborhood was the birthplace of Yoshino cherry tree.
