Great onsen. Avoid the hotel if you hate smokers.
Isawa Onsen in Isawa Onsen!
It is not a hot spring facility where tourists come, but a traditional public bath for locals.
I heard about the existence of this place in a conversation with a group next door at an izakaya, saying, "Isawa Onsen has a bath in the back of the cafeteria." It seemed interesting, so I came.
To get there, take the narrow path next to Welcia to the crossroads, so there is Ishiwa Onsen on the left, turn left, and there are several parking lots in the monthly parking lot.
There are two entrances, one is the main gate and the other is a place like a kitchen near the parking lot.
Once inside, the dining room! The entrance to the public bath in the back
The price is 430 yen (January 2020), which is the same unit price for adults and children regardless of whether they are local or tourists.
There is also a shoe box, but there is a high degree of freedom, such as having shoes as they are without removing the bill, or taking them off and leaving them as they are!
The changing room is an old-fashioned locker, an obsolete dryer, and a scale that seems to be in a public bath!
Isn't it small if 5 to 6 people gather in the changing room?
There are 3 types of bathrooms: ordinary bath, electric bath, cold bath, and a simple sauna!
There is a picture of Mt. Fuji that is rare to see right now.
And the tub is Kerorin! The walls of the changing room and bathroom do not reach the ceiling, so men and women can talk.
I hesitate to come by car, but if you want to taste the nostalgic public bath, thank you here!
It seems that the second bath fee will serve you when you eat after taking a bath!
There is no parking lot
↑ I'm sorry. This is a comment I don't remember writing.
When I actually went there, there certainly wasn't a parking lot lol
However, the bath and customer service were pleasant, so I will use it again!
The wall painting of Mt. Fuji upside down is very beautiful
The hot water of the faucet had an egg smell, but the hot water of the bathtub had a chlorine disinfection smell. Very smooth to the touch
The hot water of the faucet feels slimy even if you hang it after washing your body
The bath is clean and the wall is painted with Mt. Fuji upside down like a public bath. The place that is a hot spring is also good.
