This place is pretty amazing. Buildings from all over Tokyo have been moved into on place allowing you to explore and learn at your own pace. The map is available in Chinese and English. There are a few cafes that you can stop and enjoy inside the buildings like an Udon shop! Very unique, very cheap admission (400Y) and very educational. We had a blast. Thank you!

Not very big in size but very impressive collection of buildings, can be easily viewed if you have 2-2,5 hours but recommend to reserve more. Very picturesque places, you can feel almost like brought back in time, or like on a movie set. Nice descriptions of buildings in English too. Not very crowded when visited in late afternoon Nov 2020.

The architecture during the Edo period is incredible! This open air museum lets you explore what life was like during this era. The current exposition is on Japanese bath houses but that is only a small part of one building. Go early and enjoy the park that the museum is located in. It’s a beautiful and big park - highly recommend!

Amazingly beautiful 🥰 The staff are very nice and friendly. They helped us a lot and would definitely recommend this place! You will spend the whole day there and wish you lived in Japan in that era

One of the best and most interesting museums in Tokyo. They have even built a small street from 1900's, with all the buildings and products from that time too. And you can enter them!
