This was by far our favorite beach whilst vacationing in Okinawa. Very soft white sand with no rocks and dead corals. Big swimming area protected from jellyfish by a large net. Comfortable changing area and showers (¥100/3mins).

Small stretch of sand beach with basketball and children playground. Seemingly pretty famous for shooting marriage pictures for Japanese couples. Was pretty busy everyday I was here. It seems possible to have barbeque here between April and October. As the US military base is very close, expect many military type US people here.

Very beautiful beach with easy access and a small section netted off for whoever would like to swim in it. Sunrise and sunset are the best times to enjoy the view. There is a really cool tattoo shop right on the corner called Ink 8 Board and the owner and artist, Eve, is really sweet and great to get along with. You have to schedule an appointment but she is usually available! The beach and park have a lot of areas to sit at and you could easily being a picnic to enjoy on the soft grass. Bring a blanket to lay with your family and enjoy the nice breeze! I wish they had little stands on the sidewalk with small local foods to try or ice cream but if you walk further into town away from the beach then you will find food! Entry is free!
