Wonderful surprise
Pro: Big area for kids to play in. Separated from 6yrs. Has a nice hike area, and big area for scooters and such. Vending machines and water fountain.
Con: Shade is a premium. The breeze doesn't cut through as often due to the surrounding trees, so bring a fan. During summer months, the playground can get rather hot. Parking can become a bit of a burden.
Summary: Great place to go for free, unless the ice cream vending machine gets you, and enjoy with the family. Take a lunch and add a picnic.
I love this park; it's so huge that my family and I spent two separate days exploring it. It has so much nature and adventure that suits both kids and adults. There is also a ginormous playground that kids can play at. Plus, the history piece of it as well.
There are playground equipment for young children and lower grades. It is a little hard to understand in a location far from the large park. Vacant for that
It is good because there is a space where parents can rest, a shadow. Not many parking lots can be stopped.
There are places where only 3 years old can enter, so small children can play with peace of mind, and there are toilets, vending machines and parlors, so even if you were hungry, it was OK with empty-handed.
Is a recommended place If there is a chance, have to take the child to go.
