for student who visits Kitakyushu this place is a must to visit. inside, you can find futuristic technology to save energy, future home, car, etc. Also, there's a story about this city about how they get their blue sky back

Don’t let the fact that it is free deter you. This is a Wonderful public education and outreach component of the Kitakyushu transformation from environmental disaster to economically strong and vibrant green city. This museum tells the story of its transformation. Good for kids and adults.

Different exhibits related to the environment of Kitakyushu, it's history of pollution and it's revival. The museum shows the artifacts from 1970s, when Kitakyushu's water and air was highly polluted due to rapid industrialization of Kitakyushu. The severe health problems that the people faced, and how the common people played an active role in solving these problems. The achievements made by Kitakyushu city municipality in maintaining cleanliness and environment of Kitakyushu. There's also a eco house there, which we can enter. It's built on the concept of nature friendly and efficient energy consumption. So overall, lots of information to learn!
