ただしこの駐車場でも盗難などの被害が出ているとの話も聞きますので、各自防犯対策を忘れずに。

I always stay here when I make a pilgrimage to Oarai. It is also ideal for overnight stays in the car, and the closest toilet is the Maiwai Market across from it. You can use the toilet on the second floor up the stairs of the building for 24 hours across the pedestrian crossing.
There is only one entrance, and it's crowded. I want other exits, and on Saturdays and Sundays, I'd like to ask the guards to guide me.
Along with the Maiai market parking lot across the road, it is the only public large parking lot on the Oarai Bay coast. Free. There are more parking spaces than the market side, and there is no problem finding a parking space other than the event date. I don't know about midnight, but there's no particular atmosphere for crime prevention. Aside from the hot summer days from early summer to autumn, you can walk to various nearby facilities if you don't mind the bustle of the main street. It is not bad to move around these sightseeing spots by car, but there are many parking lots, so you can park here and take a leisurely walk. If you park your car for a break, please be aware that there are no toilets and that it is difficult to procure beverages and food unless the Maiwai Market goes to stores in the city. Also, please be aware that the temperature inside the car rises considerably when parking for a long time when the sun is strong.
