A museum opened in 1968 as the "Miwa town native hall". It moved to the present location in 1983 and reopened, and it became the current name at the time of the merger of municipalities in 2010. In addition to the display of folk materials on the theme of "making rice and living in the past" and "play equipment for local history and living", portraits of archaeological relics excavated from the ruins of Miwa area The museum also displays materials related to the Enoki, and the Attorney General of the Army, Eijiro Ogawa, who was in charge of the Gansu case and the 2 and 26 cases.

For those who are not interested in this area, it is a small museum, but I was impressed by the natives. It was full of interesting materials such as hanging scrolls of local heroes such as Masakatsu Hachisuka, domestic affairs, Masanori Fukushima, a state of a town a long time ago, and a picture of a village in the Edo period. Also exhibits pottery from the Yayoi period. Realize that it is a historical area. Of course, I was the only visitor, but it was a very nice museum for me to stop by. I hope it's gone forever ...

A museum where you can learn about the history of the city. You can learn about old life and culture at the permanent exhibition, and there are also special exhibitions. There is also a small bookcase. The curators are kind enough to answer any questions (´ ^ ∀ ^ `)
