From architect point of view - building worth to visit. Good craftsmanship, plenty of pleasant details, interesting design.

It’s a fascinating peek into the topography & geological formation of the area around the Sumida & Arakawa. You get free English audio guides that give enough information although not as comprehensive as the Japanese. The architecture is beautiful too and there’s a restaurant on the 3rd floor

An interesting museum introducing local histories now with English explanations for some exhibits for foreign visitors. The architecture of the museum is modern and beautiful. Wish the movie clips playing there could be added with English subtitles as well.

A ward museum in Asukayama Park. It has been called three museums, including the paper museum and the Shibusawa Eiichi Memorial Hall, for a long time, but this is the first visit. It's a public facility in Kita Ward, so it's free. Only the permanent exhibition on the 1st floor costs 300 yen. You can browse wonderful works, which can be said to be special exhibitions on the 2nd and 3rd floors, for a limited time. This time, I saw a video of the living national treasure Mr. Mineishi Okuyama and other wonderful works and the production scenery. There is also a small coffee shop on the 3rd floor. It is a facility I want to visit again.
