This is the graveyard of Marshal Togo Heihachiro, who won the Baltic Fleet in the Russo-Japanese War against the Sea of Japan.
It is lined with the graveyard of Marshal Yamamoto in the Holy Sacred Area of Tama Cemetery.
In front of the Marshal's grave, I have been grateful for the country's existence, and for its further development.
Hero of the Russo-Japanese War, captain of battleship Mikasa. It is the grave where that great Togo Heihachiro sleeps. It also appears in a masterpiece written by Ryotaro Shiba called Cloud on Sakanoue.
He is a hero of the Russo-Japanese War alongside the Akiyama brothers. Heihachiro Togo, in 1926 (Taisho 15), as the captain of Mikasa, who became the memorial hall, set out as a flag captain in the Battle of the Sea of Japan and defeated the Baltic fleet of the Sea of Japan with Masayuki Akiyama. It made the name known to the world.
In recognition of his great achievements, there is the Togo Memorial Hall. His greatness raised Japan in the Meiji era and made us proud of us as a Japanese today. He lives on in everyone's heart.
The three men, Akiyama Masayuki, Akiyama Yoshiko, and Masaoka Shiki, also made a great difference in the world of the Meiji era and made a great contribution to Japanese culture. I think that they, as a representative of Meiji Japan, have continued their studies with hard work, and with the pride of being Japanese, they have survived. Surrounded by Takeo Hirose, Ritsu Masaoka, the Akiyama family, and various other people, he has continued to live.
Finally, I would like to say a word. On behalf of us Japanese.
Thank you very much. Give me pride as a Japanese. I won't forget you all until I die. If I'm a lifetime and someday die, I want to see you in this world. And I want to say
Thank you very much...
Thank you for visiting
It is the grave of Marshal Togo Heihachiro.
It is a nice tomb that has been cleaned cleanly.
There is also a grave on Mt. Taga in Kagoshima Prefecture.
