Beautiful place in the world. It is surrounded by beautiful nature waterfalls. Shrine temples and museums are major attraction there. Shrine temple will be Open only for two months November and December . U can enjoy the colorful gorgeous Japan in this time. U can see three colors of leafs for every tree. It is transition time from one to other.

Beautiful and it had very elaborate designs and artwork. It was unusual to be able to go inside the shrine itself, not many shrines allow visitors to go inside. I'm glad I visited.

The final resting place of shogun Ieyasu Tokugawa. The amount of work that went into this place is insane. It looks like a part of the mountain was carved off to create this architectural masterpiece. Or is it an art piece? Everything is maintained in emaculate condition but not sectioned off! Get up and close with history!

Different experience compared to to other temple in Japan. You get to climb hundreds of steps to see one of Japan leader tomb. Then go look at a confusing yet mystical ceremony where you wish to your Chinese zodiac sign. Do not forget to see the 3 monkeys carving. Expect to spend 1-1.5 hour here.

This is where the tomb of the great Japanese shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu is located. You have to pay to see the graves and temples. The opulence of this temple could be considered a Buddhist version of the Catholic Church.
