Great family experience. Small children are okay. The gorillas are probably my favorite and decent viewing options. Most animal cages have glass area, allowing for great views/pictures of animals. Wide variety of animals as well, with a small petting area for goats/sheep. And adults are only 600yen. Great place, deal, and good for the whole family.

[Size that can be seen from a distance! ] It is a facility for tigers, leopards, jaguars, and (lions), which are said to be beasts in the Kyoto City Zoo. "Corona measures" I always tried to get close to the glass, but as a countermeasure against corona, there is a pole and rope about 1 m away from the glass, and you can appreciate it from there. There are two tiger cages, and the passage between them passes over humans, and the tiger passes through them, but the passage under them was also closed. "Lion" I was riding a newspaper, but an old couple of lions died, but it seems that they decided not to put lions in them anymore, so they decided to get Jaguars there. The reason is * See the photo, but it seems to be about breeding lions. I feel a bit lonely when I cannot hear the crying lions that entertain everyone. I wish you all the best.

It's the Kyoto City Zoo. The roads are flat and safe for small children to run around.

The elephants are relaxing.

Unfortunately because of the small space, it is not a fence-free exhibition but a cage view, but there is a merit that animals are close. It's a shame that there are no lions as of spring 2020, but the largest Amur tiger exhibit among the tigers is a powerful exhibit.
