As the name implies, it is the nearest station to the park called Misono Chuo Park. SoftBank Wi-Fi is off. Although it is an unmanned station all day long, station staff may be temporarily placed during rush hours. It used to be called Kitahama Station due to the name of the neighborhood, but since it was confused with the neighboring station, Hamahoku Station, it has been renamed to Kitahama Junior High School and renamed Misono Chuo Park.
