Off the beaten path but full of history of the Olympic games. Worth attending a Sunday Baseball game from the local team to experience the inside of the stadium
A large stadium with adjacent park that worth to walk
There are sandboxes and playground equipment for preschool children to play, so it's very fun to play.
This facility was the venue for the opening and closing ceremony during the Nagano Olympic Games in 1998! It is used as a baseball field after the competition.
It is also famous as the goal of the Nagano Olympic Memorial Nagano Marathon held in commemoration of the Olympic Games, and many spectators come at the time of the event.
A storm concert was once held here, but due to noise complaints from the neighborhood, the concert will not be held after that.
Various exercise facilities are maintained in the vicinity, and it is the main facility of Minami Nagano Athletic Park.
It is famous that it was the venue for the 1998 Winter Nagano Olympic Opening Ceremony. The design that makes the cherry blossoms bloom proudly is still favourable. Currently used as a baseball field, it seems that there will be a Giants game in the summer.
