Went here on a class trip. Staff were very friendly to us and the museum was pretty interesting.

Nice calm place, worth to visit ( on weekends free paper making workshop - needs to reserve in advance)

If you have little time to travel around Tokyo, I wouldn't recommend this place. I though it would have lots of beautiful paper on display, with pretty designs and different kind of paper. After all, Japan is an expert in paper. But no, all the museum was about how to make paper and how it's recycled. It's more for educational purposes.

Not as interesting as it sounds. But as part of the combo package with the other museums in the park, worth a quick look. They have pretty neat stuff in the gift shop though.

Maybe not top on the list of must-sees in Tokyo, and the displays are pretty functional, but the guides are helpful and mine spoke English. Also, you can do paper-making on weekend afternoons. Just the right size and interesting for kids too.
