Small-ish zoo. But cheap and kid friendly. Quite nice to visit.

I've been coming here ever since my grandfather took me here as a little girl. Now is my go-to stop every time I'm in Tobe! My favorite animal is Peace the Polar Bear, not only for her message but what she ment to me growing up. Also did you know that they support a rare sea otter endemic to Japan? Great Staff! Great service! and Great memories!

For only ￥500 it's definitely worth it! If you go early enough, you can even feed the sea lions. Buy 2 fish from a cooler, toss down to the hungry sea lions, and wash your hands with the soap and sink provided. Monkeys were funny too.
