JR九州所属の鉄道駅。唐津線の終着駅で地上駅です。交通系ICカード利用可能。車両基地が隣接されていて、筑肥線(地下鉄線直通)の列車もここに入庫する関係で西唐津-唐津のみが電化されている。この関係で無人化は免れているが、営業時間が短い。

The operation center is set up to draw the flow of "Hikara", and the railcars used for the Chikuhi line trains and the Karatsu and Chikuhi lines towards Imari are located. The platform is a single-sided line, and the train is pulled up after arrival.

The Karatsu Line is a local line that connects Kubota Station and Nishi Karatsu Station in Saga Prefecture. It is a beautiful line with pretty yellow railcars running in the beautiful scenery of the mountains. I have been on the whole line only once. I think it's a route where you can enjoy the scenery. I want to go again.
