Teganuma is a one of a most polluted lake in Japan in Tone river basin. This is pumping station. This will pump water to Edogawa River. It has different purposes such as flood control, provide water etc. Water pumped in a rate nearly 3m3/s. The challenging features in Tone river is that the population in river basin exceeds 10million population, the flood risk is very high, salt water intrudes during drought periods, require to manage water for agricultural and industrial water usage etc.
