Meitetsu made the Takenashi Line by extending it from the middle for the purpose of transferring to the Shinkansen.
There was an express train bound for Gifu for several years after it opened, but now it is only a regular train.
A few years ago, the train overrun on a snowy day and stopped on the verge of falling from the Awaya elevated platform.
It was pretty dangerous.
The area around the station is quiet because there are no outstanding facilities other than the Shinkansen station.
The section between Ekira Station and Shin-Hashima Station is called the Hashima Line, but I feel that it is okay to change the name to the Takenashi Line, but that is not the case yet. The name of the Hashima line remains the same.
I didn't know where it was when I first started, but the next bullet train is right away! If you are connected inside,
This Shin-hajima Station is a station where you can transfer to the Shinkansen from the Takehana Line of the Nagoya Main Line.
The last station of the Meitetsu Hashima Line. It is adjacent to Gifu Hashima Station on the Tokaido Shinkansen and is also an elevated station. However, this station is an unmanned station all day long, and there is only one single-sided platform and one track. However, the height of the platform is almost the same as that of Gifu Hashima Station, so you can easily see the high speed passage of the Shinkansen. From the shared rotary in front of the station, there are Meihan Kintetsu bus routes heading to Ogaki station via Anpachi-machi, and community bus stops for Hashima city, Kaizu city and Wanouchi town. This Uchikaizu City Community Bus runs through Ochiyoho Inari to Ishizu Minami, which is about 20 kilometers away from the Yoro Railway Ishizu Station. There are few restaurants around the station, including in front of the station.
Even at the unmanned station of Meitetsu, there is an elevator, a waiting room where there is no wind, and a toilet for the disabled.
Trains change every 15 minutes to Kasamatsu, about an hour to Nagoya, and about 30 minutes to Gifu.
