This is a great little hidden gem of a bakery. During our stay in the area, we visited this shop every morning we could. For foreigners that are new to Japanese bakeries: you come in, grab a tray and tongs, and grab whatever you want. You bring this up to the counter to pay (in cash only). We tried many different baked goods, and our favorite are the little croissants. Try a multitude of things and discover different flavors. It doesn't matter that nothing is in English, because the mystery is half of the fun.

Really delicious, fresh bread. I highly recommend trying the "Coffee Break" bread that is only sold on Saturdays. It's a bit out of the way, but if you live in western Kyoto, give this place a try!

The taste is very good but the price is reasonable. The baguettes are especially savory and roasted, and although others have written them, they taste like department stores. Even products that take time and effort are cheap.

Freshly baked cream bread seems to be popular. Personally, I also recommend a coffee break. It was as thick as it looked, and it was delicious with various flavors.

A homey bakery. Is delicious. The shop is kind and I like it.
